Logistics

Performance Space

This show requires a performance area 20 feet deep and 40 feet wide. It works perfectly in large community rooms, church sanctuaries, school auditoriums and theaters.

Setup Time

Approximately 5 hours is needed for setup and this setup must occur when audiences members are not present in the room. Setup time may be increased or decreased based on the size of the audience and complexity of the show.

Venue Prep and Seating Time

Prior to load-in, all windows into the performance area and windows within the performance area that let light in should be covered to ensure audience members don't see the performance area during prep and light is controlled during the performance. All audience members will be seated 10 minutes prior to showtime within the performance venue.

Audience Seating and Show Positioning

This show is very appropriate for traditional theater settings. For non-traditional theater venues Jeff travels with a system of backdrops and lighting. Audience should be seated on the floor or in chairs - either theater or banquet style. This show isn't performed surrounded, so Jeff's stage area should be positioned against a wall at either the end of the room or against the wall running the length of the room. Stadium seating should be avoided.

Sound / Microphone / Lighting / Load-In

The use of house sound for playing music and wireless lapel or headset microphone and another wireless handheld microphone is requested. Sound system should be able to connect / link to an iPhone used for playing show music track. Jeff also travels with a set of theatrical lighting and curtains to supplement current set up of traditional theater spaces and transform any non-traditional space into a theater setting. He also travels with a sound/lighting tech who will need access to a central area near the back of the audience area to control all sounds and lighting upon load in. 11 foot tall ceilings are needed for all rigging and load-in double doors with a width of at least 30 inches total are required for all equipment to fit inside the venue. Jeff transports his stage show with a trailer. Please select the door nearest to the performance area where his trailer can pull up closest for load-in. Please also provide 1-2 additional people from your organization to help load-in equipment during the 30 minute load-in process.
